As a Hair Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the salon's daily operations by providing assistance to senior stylists and ensuring a positive experience for clients. Your responsibilities will include shampooing, conditioning, and preparing clients for various hair services. Additionally, you will assist in maintaining a clean and organized salon environment and contribute to the overall success of the team.

Roles and Responsibilities

•  Support senior stylists in various tasks, including shampooing, conditioning, and preparing clients for hair services.
• Greet clients and ensure a positive salon experience.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and needs.
• Wash and condition clients' hair prior to styling.
• Provide scalp massages during shampooing when required.
• Towel-dry hair appropriately, ensuring a comfortable experience for clients.
• Assist in sectioning hair for various styling procedures.
• Assist in preparing hair color mixtures as directed by senior stylists.
• Ensure accurate application and processing times.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the salon, including cleaning workstations and tools.
• Adhere to proper sanitization protocols to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Stay informed about hair care products and assist clients in selecting appropriate products for their needs.
• Assist in managing appointment schedules and ensuring timely services.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding appointment details.
• Actively participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and stay updated on industry trends.
• Seek feedback from senior stylists for continuous improvement.
• Work collaboratively with other salon staff to provide comprehensive services.
• Foster a positive and supportive team environment.

Qualification & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a salon or beauty-related field is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic knowledge of hair care products and treatments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and trends.
