JOB OBJECTIVE

Promote incident prevention for the benefit of employees and visitors. Assist in the development and presentation of relevant HSE training. Observe HSE regulations, wears all required safety equipment, encourages safe working practices, corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports them to the proper personnel.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Safety officer monitors workplace activities to ensure works comply with company safety policies along with government safety regulations.
  • Set safety committee team and arrange for a weekly/monthly meeting.
  • Conduct safety inspection on internal and external, safety training to the employees, compliance with the Federal occupational safety and Health administration known as OSHA.
  • Manage the risk and hazards in factory area and develop prevention strategies for injury and incidents.
  • Report and investigate incident, injuries, and hazards, and implement agreed control measures.
  • Review and analyze injuries/accident reports and escalate to management.
  • Ensure health and safety materials are properly placed.
  • Ensure the Hazardous waste management.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Minimum Qualification: Bachelors/Masters in any field and Diploma in Industrial Safety Engineering from recognized Institute / University or NEBOSH Diploma
  • Minimum Experience: 3-5 years

Job Specific Skills:

  • Proficiency in Computer skills.
  • Possess strong negotiation, presentation and Managerial skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office software, and any other related system.
